La Toya Jackson - Trouble (La Remixes)

In 2013, Cherry Pop Records released a remastered and expanded version of La Toya Jackson's fabulous 1988 album "You're Gonna Get Rocked!", including the previously unreleased track "Trouble", later recorded by Nia Peeples for her debut album.

But now, La Toya's version has been remixed for a brand new EP, including ten new dance mixes of the track. Although I'm not a big fan of modern remixes of eighties tracks, I really enjoyed some of them, especially the ones by Matt Pop.

You can order the CD edition directly from Vibe On Records. The remixes are also out digitally on iTunes, Spotify, Beatport, Amazon UK and Amazon US.

La Toya Jackson - Bad Girl (Re-release)

I'm a big fan of La Toya Jackson and her plastic fantastic music, so I am glad to recommend Vibe On Records brand new reissue of her 1989-1990 album "Bad Girl". The original album has been digitally remastered and the two disc reissue also features a ton of rare and unreleased bonus tracks.

The album includes the fan favourites "Bad Girl", "Sexual Feeling", "Playboy" and "He's My Brother". Order your copy now from Amazon, Discogs or directly from Vibe On Records.

La Toya Jackson - Feels Like Love

Plastic fantastic La Toya Jackson released her brand new single "Feels Like Love" today! We can always count on La Toya to deliver cool dance-pop tracks. I'm a huge fan of her eighties and nineties tracks, and I'm looking forward to more new music from this queen of kitsch.

The second season of La Toya's reality show "Life With La Toya" just finished airing on the Oprah Winfrey Network, so let's hope that means she'll have time to work on a brand new album.

On November 25, La Toya Jackson's 1988 album "You're Gonna Get Rocked!" is being reissued by Cherry Pop Records. The album includes R&B singles "Such A Wicked Love", "You Blew" and "You're Gonna Get Rocked!"

Also included are the poptastic Stock Aitken Waterman produced "Just Say No", "(Ain't Nobody Loves You) Like I Do" and "(Tell Me) She Means Nothing To You At All". This remastered deluxe edition includes tons of bonus tracks like remixes and the previously unreleased track "Trouble".

I love La Toya's plastic pop music so I'm very excited about this reissue, especially the rare PWL tracks. You can pre-order your copy now from Amazon UK and Amazon US.
