Lulu - Independence (Reissue)

I haven't listened much to Lulu, with the exception of her Eurovision hit "Boom Bang-A-Bang" and her Bond theme "The Man With The Golden Gun". However, I do like her album "Independence" (1993) which has a more dancey soul-pop sound, for example the fabulous title track that was a hit in the United Kingdom.

The album has just been reissued by Cherry Pop Records as a remastered and expanded deluxe edition consisting of four CDs and one DVD, packed with non-album singles, remixes, B-sides and other rarities.

Kim Wilde - Teases & Dares (Reissue)

One of my favourite albums, "Teases & Dares" (1984) by the fabulous Kim Wilde, has been remastered and expanded by Cherry Red Records and it sounds great, better than the 2010 reissue in my opinion. I absolutely love the synthpop sound of this underrated album.

The singles "The Second Time" and "The Touch" are some of my all-time favourite songs and should have been huge back in the day. The reissue consists of two CDs and one DVD packed with rare material.

Madonna - Confessions II

It's always amazing when Madonna, one of my favourite artists, releases new music, especially dance music, so I've been busy listening to her new album "Confessions II". I bet you're not surprised to hear that my number one favourite track is "Danceteria", with its electronic dance sound.
