Eurotix - Superstar

Listen to "Superstar", the opening track on Eurotix debut album "The Secret". We first recorded it a few years back, as a demo sent to Melodifestivalen, the Swedish pre-selection to the Eurovision Song Contest. However, it remained unreleased until Larry and I decided to rerecord it for the album.

Not only have the vocals been rerecorded, but the production has been given a full makeover. The final version is less "schlager" and more synthpop, more Eurotix. I'm also fond of the lyrics which are both cocky and tragic at the same time.

"Superstar" is available digitally on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon UK, Amazon US and on a limited CD edition. Enjoy!

Video: Taylor Dayne - Dreaming

Eighties icon Taylor Dayne is back with the brand new single "Dreaming". And while it's no "Tell It To My Heart", I'm really glad Taylor is doing clubby dance-pop music again! I hope this is the start of a new successful era for her. What a voice!

Check out the video down below. The track is out now on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon UK and Amazon US.

Trailer: The Evil Within

Check out the trailer for "The Evil Witin", the new horror video game developed by Shinji Mikami, creator of the "Resident Evil" series. It's not for the faint hearted though, but I love horror movies, so I'll definitely getting this one. Not sure if I will be able to go to sleep after playing it though.

"The Evil Within" is out now for the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Order your copy from Amazon UK or Amazon US.

"While investigating the scene of a gruesome mass murder, Detective Sebastian Castellanos and his partners encounter a mysterious and powerful force. After seeing the slaughter of fellow officers, Sebastian is ambushed and knocked unconscious. When he awakens, he finds himself in a deranged world where hideous creatures wander among the dead. Facing unimaginable terror, and fighting for survival, Sebastian embarks on a frightening journey to unravel what's behind this evil force."

#SaveDallas - Help the Ewings find a new home

As you probably know by now, TNT cancelled the new "Dallas" spinoff after three seasons. I wasn't surprised when I heard the news, the show had been struggling in the ratings and we all know that networks are more interested in cheap reality shows rather than good prime time dramas.

However, I personally love the spinoff and I hope it will get another chance. The team is trying their best to find a new home for the show on another network and they need our help. So please keep using the hashtag #SaveDallas in social medias, and don't forget to sign the online petition. Together, we can make a difference.

If we don't get a fourth season, I hope that they'll at least make a TV movie to wrap up the loose ends. No show should have to end on a cliffhanger. Especially not a show as iconic as "Dallas".

Trailer: The Woman In Black 2: Angel Of Death

One of the best horror movies to come out the past couple of years is Hammer Film's "The Woman In Black" from 2012, starring Daniel Radcliffe. The movie is finally getting a sequel called "The Woman In Black: Angel Of Death" and you can check out the creepy trailer down below.

The movie takes place forty years after the first movie and follows a group of school children and their teacher Eve as they are evacuated from London during World War II, ending up at the haunted Eel Marsh House.

The movie premieres in 2015 and stars Phoebe Fox, Helen McCrory, Ned Dennehy and hunky Jeremy Irvine. Meanwhile, check out the first movie, which is available on Blu-ray and DVD.

Eurotix - Don't Let Go

Listen to my band's track "Don't Let Go" down below. I wrote the lyrics myself. It was sent to Melodifestivalen, the Swedish pre-selection to the Eurovision Song Contest, but didn't go all the way, so it was released on our album instead. The track also includes a nod to a certain New Order track. Can you hear which one?

"Don't Let Go" is taken from our Eurotix album "The Secret", available digitally on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon UK, Amazon US and as a limited CD edition. Enjoy!

My favourites: Samantha Fox - I Surrender (To The Spirit Of The Night) (1987)

It's time for another one of my all-time favourite songs. I became a Samantha Fox fan in the summer of 2000, when I first discovered and fell in love with eighties pop music. Her biggest hit "Touch Me (I Want Your Body)" instantly became one of my favourites, but I soon discovered that she had loads of other masterpieces in her discography.

One of them is the 1987 single "I Surrender (To The Spirit Of The Night)" taken from her second album "Samantha Fox". The track was produced by Jon Astrop and became a hit in Europe. I really love the electronic sound, especially the drums, and Samantha really proves that she is indeed a good vocalist!

Check out the official video down below, which uses an extended intro. You got to love the eighties fashion, shoulder pads and all. "I Surrender (To The Spirit Of The Night)" is available digitally on iTunes and Spotify, but I really recommend the remastered deluxe edition of the "Samantha Fox" album. It's fabulous!

Keep an eye on my new blog label "favourites" to see, hear and read about more of my favourite tracks. You can also subscribe to my favourites playlist on YouTube.

Video: Tokio Hotel - Love Who Loves You Back

German band Tokio Hotel are known for their singles "Monsoon", "Automatic" and the beautiful "Don't Jump". Now, they're back with the brand new single "Love Who Loves You Back", and I'm very glad that the sound is more electronic than usual. I also like the sexy video, which features both straight and gay kissing.

"Love Who Loves You Back" is taken from the upcoming album "Kings Of Suburbia" and is available now on iTunes and Spotify. The album can be pre-ordered from Amazon UK and Amazon US.
