#SaveDallas - Help the Ewings find a new home

As you probably know by now, TNT cancelled the new "Dallas" spinoff after three seasons. I wasn't surprised when I heard the news, the show had been struggling in the ratings and we all know that networks are more interested in cheap reality shows rather than good prime time dramas.

However, I personally love the spinoff and I hope it will get another chance. The team is trying their best to find a new home for the show on another network and they need our help. So please keep using the hashtag #SaveDallas in social medias, and don't forget to sign the online petition. Together, we can make a difference.

If we don't get a fourth season, I hope that they'll at least make a TV movie to wrap up the loose ends. No show should have to end on a cliffhanger. Especially not a show as iconic as "Dallas".

The new Dallas spinoff is a success!

The new "Dallas" spinoff series premiered on June 13 and was watched by 6,9 million people, only in the US. It ranks as the number one scripted series premiere on all of cable for the year-to-date.

Larry Hagman, Linda Gray and Patrick Duffy all returned as their iconic characters from the original show. I'm so glad the series is doing so well when other spinoffs of older soaps have bombed. The world needs more real drama series instead of cheap reality shows!

I hope the show will do just as good here in Europe. What did you think of the pilot? Whatever you do, don't miss this amazing soap opera!

Are you excited about the new "Dallas" spinoff series? I sure am! Ultimate Dallas, the official website of 80's soap opera, posted the following character guide on their blog:

ANN RYLAND EWING (played by Brenda Strong) - A pure blue-blooded Texan but you wouldn’t guess it. She may know champagne and caviar, but talks hog and hominy. Carelessly elegant, optimistic, good-humored, Ann’s got eyes in the back of her head and is game for anything.

BOBBY JAMES EWING (played by Patrick Duffy) - His hair a little grayer, his face etched with character, Bobby’s still the same dynamic, compassionate man who always insisted on playing fair.

CHRISTOPHER EWING (played by Jesse Metcalfe) - The new acumen and entrepreneurial vigor of the Ewing clan. Smart, attractive, effective, he has the guarded eyes of someone who’s already mixed it up with life.

REBECCA SUTTER (played by Julie Gonzalo) -  A beautiful, spontaneous young woman, Rebecca seduces those around with her direct manner. Fiancée of Christoher Ewing.

Models Inc. on DVD?

Do you remember the 1990's soap "Models Inc."? It was a "Melrose Place" spinoff starring Linda Gray from "Dallas" and Emma Samms from "Dynasty". The show was cancelled after only one season but it still has lots of fans over the world. And we want the show released on DVD! Please sign this petition to help the DVD release happen.
