New CD's in my record collection: "In The Cards" by Robert DeLong, reissues of "Toni Braxton" and "Secrets" by Toni Braxton, "Relight My Fire" by Dan Hartman, "Amii Stewart" by Amii Stewart and "Janice McClain" by Janice McClain, "Night Rocker" by David Hasselhoff, "Cha Cha Heels" by Eartha Kitt & Bronski Beat and finally the compilation "The Best From Alpha Records".

Baccara - I Belong To Your Heart (New Baccara)

Lovely disco duo Baccara got their big break in 1977 with the single "Yes Sir, I Can Boogie". Now, María Mendiola and Cristina Sevilla are finally back with new material. The single is called "I Belong To Your Heart" and has an amazing eighties retro sound, just the type of music I love.

Does the sound sound familiar? Well that's because Luis Rodríguez produced it, just like he did with the duo's eighties singles "Fantasy Boy", "Touch Me" and "Call Me Up", when they called themselves New Baccara. He also worked with artists such as Modern Talking, C.C. Catch, Sweet Connection and Blue System.

Robert DeLong - Don't Wait Up

My dear friend Sven recently recommended this song to me: "Don't Wait Up" by Robert DeLong, an American electronic musician and singer. Sven knows me so well. I love the electronic dance-pop track, all the cool sounds and the way he plays all the instruments in the video. And he's got a great voice too!

"Don't Wait Up" is out digitally on iTunes and Spotify, and on CD from Amazon UK and Amazon US.
