Rest in peace, Kate O'Mara

I just read the sad news about Kate O'Mara's death. It's such a tragedy. For me, she'll always be remembered as Cassandra "Caress" Morrell, Alexis' bitchy sister, on eighties soap "Dynasty". And of course as Patsy's sister Jackie on "Absolutely Fabulous". You might also remember her from series such as "Howard's Way", "Benidorm", "Doctor Who" and "The Brothers".

Rest in peace, Kate. You'll be greatly missed.

My Paul Rein CD collection

Here is my CD collection by Swedish pop icon Paul Rein: "Communicate" (1986), "The First Impression" (1987) and "Easy Street" (1988). My personal favourite is his first album, I really love the typical "italo disco" sound on songs such as "Lady-O", "Hold Back Your Love" and "Show Me Tonight". Oh, how I love eighties music!

Eurotix - Life As It Slips Away (EP)

Me and Larry Forsberg just released the new Eurotix EP "Life As It Slips Away". Check out the video for the title track down below! It was directed by Andrea Forsberg and shot in an old factory, abandoned in the eighties, which is quite fitting considering the retro vibe of the EP.

The title track was originally written by Larry and his friend Andreas Ahlenius in the late eighties, but remained unreleased until now. The EP also includes the brand new track "When You Go", plus final mixes of the party anthem "Clubland" and "We Could Have Been", previously available in early mixes on Soundcloud and YouTube.

The EP is out now on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon UK, Amazon US and many other digital music stores. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter for news on our upcoming album. And please share the video with your friends!

Video: Daniel Landers - Love Me Tonight

One of my favourites from "Dallas" is the lovely Audrey Landers, who played Afton Cooper on both the original and the new series. Talent runs in the Landers family and her charming son Daniel just released a video for his single "Love Me Tonight". Check it out down below!

Video: Sergey Lazarev - Take It Off

I've followed the career of Russian pop hunk Sergey Lazarev for quite some time now. He just released the video for his single "Take It Off" on YouTube, check it out down below. I really love the dance/house sound and the cool video. Lots of hot guys, cool outfits and people dressed in pink. No wonder this guy is a gay icon in Russia!

Pink Pistols - I Am Somebody EP

Good news for fans of Swedish disco sisters Lili & Susie. Susie co-wrote the gay rights song "I Am Somebody" for Melodifestivalen 2014, the Swedish pre-selection to the Eurovision Song Contest. The catchy pop track performed by Pink Pistols didn't win, but it's climbing the Swedish charts.

Pink Pistols just released their debut EP, including four brand new dance-pop tracks with an electronic sound. My personal favourites are "I Am Somebody", "Wake-Up Call" and "Sweet Revenge", the latter also co-written by Susie Päivärinta. The EP is out now on iTunes and Spotify.

"I Am Somebody" tracklist:

1. I Am Somebody
2. Wake-Up Call
3. Romeo
4. Sweet Revenge
5. Set Me Free
6. I Am Somebody (Instrumental)

Video: Susie Päivärinta - God Bless The Rain

Susie Päivärinta, member of fabulous disco duo Lili & Susie, has just released a video for her beautiful new solo single "God Bless The Rain". Check it our down below! The song is quite different from Lili & Susie's disco music, it a mixture of mature rock, blues and country music.

Some of you might recognize Peter Englund in the video, known from Swedish dragshow group Diamond Dogs. "God Bless The Rain" is out now on iTunes and Spotify!

Lili & Susie have also released the single "Fly, Fly Little Bird" on iTunes and Spotify. It's the theme song from Lili's TV show "Djurens Hjältar". More releases coming soon so stay tuned for more Lili & Susie news!

Video: Ace Wilder - Busy Doin' Nothin'

Poor Ace Wilder didn't win Melodifestivalen (the Swedish pre-selection to the Eurovision Song Contest) last night. Personally, I think she'd have a better chance in Eurovision than Sanna Nielsen, but we'll see. Check out the video for "Busy Doin' Nothin'" down below. The dancers remind me a bit of Bananarama's "Love In The First Degree".

"Busy Doin' Nothin'" is out now on iTunes and Spotify.

Video: Ryan Dolan - Start Again

One of my favourite songs in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 was Ireland's wonderful dance track "Only Love Survives" by hunky Ryan Dolan. Ryan recently came out of the closet and just released a video for the new single "Start Again", about bullying and suicide. It's a beautiful song and an important video that I hope everyone will watch.

I'm looking forward to new music from Ryan. "Start Again" will be out soon on iTunes and Spotify.
