A few months ago I got this lovely CD box set: "Dance Masters: Shep Pettibone (The Classic Master-Mixes)". I'm a big fan of Pettibone's work so it's great to have this collection of remixes of songs by artists such as Whitney Houston, George Michael, Duran Duran, Elton John and Pet Shop Boys.

George Michael - White Light (1963-2016)

On December 25, British pop singer George Michael tragically passed away, just fifty-three years old. I must admit that I haven't listened much to his solo music, but one exception is the single "White Light" that I first heard when George performed it during the 2012 Summer Olympics closing ceremony.

I really love the electronic sound of the track and how it blends with his sensual voice. The lyrics seem extra sad now. "White Light" is available on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon UK and Amazon US. It really deserves to be a hit. Check out the video down below.
