Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Come With Us

The wonderful Sophie Ellis-Bextor is finally back with the new single "Come With Us", inspired by seventies disco music. After the indie pop album "Wanderlust", I'm glad to see Sophie return to disco music, the genre she does best. I'm especially fond of the F9 remix since its sound is more electronic than the album version's.

Check out the video down below. "Come With Us" is out now on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon UK and Amazon US. The track is taken from Sophie's upcoming album "Familia" which will be released in September. I really hope the whole album is more dance-oriented than previous one.

Trailer: Blair Witch (2016)

One of my favourite horror movies, the 1999 found footage classic "The Blair Witch Project", is finally getting a new sequel, simply titled "Blair Witch". I know a lot of people dislike the original movie, but I still think it holds up. I really like the whole mythology of the movie and often what you don't see is scarier than what you do see. Sergey Lazarev - Breaking Away

After Russian pop hunk Sergey Lazarev's success in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with "You Are The Only One", he's back with the brand new single "Breaking Away". And I'm glad to hear that it's another electronic dance-pop track, catchy as hell. Check out the video down below and support the song. Eurotix - Besides

Mine and Larry Forsberg's synthpop project Eurotix just released our third album called "Besides". It includes B-sides and other rare tracks freshly remastered. Fifteen original tracks and two cover versions, including "Supernatural" by Army Of Lovers and "Lies" by Alphaville. You can order the limited CD edition from our website.

Dusty Springfield - Reputation (Re-release)

In 1990, Dusty Springfield released the pop album "Reputation", written and produced by the Pet Shop Boys and Dan Hartman among others. It included the singles "In Private", "Nothing Has Been Proved", "Reputation" and "Arrested By You". On August 26, Cherry Red Records will reissue the album as a three disc collector's edition.

The reissue will include the original album, B-sides and remixes, digitally remastered. The third disc is a DVD including the music videos. Among the rare bonus tracks is the PWL remix of "Born This Way". Pre-order your copy from Amazon UK.

Sequal - My Love For You

I really love freestyle music and one of the best albums of the genre is US duo Sequal's 1988 album, which was beautifully remastered and reissued by Cherry Pop Records a couple of years ago. But in 2008, the duo – consisting of Angie Vollaro and Maria Christensen – released a wonderful comeback single called "My Love For You", produced by Giuseppe D. to sound like a classic freestyle track.

The retro freestyle sound is amazing and I really recommend this single to everyone who is a fan of the genre and of eighties dance music in general. The track is available on iTunes, Spotify, Beatport, Amazon UK and Amazon US. Don't miss this gem!

Christophe Willem - Starlite

I love discovering electronic pop music, old and new, that I haven't heard before. I recently came across the lovely track "Starlite" by French singer Christophe Willem. I really love the dance-pop sound produced by Freemasons and Christophe has a beautiful voice. The song also includes a sample of the eighties classic "Ain't Nobody". Check out the video down below.

Kylie Minogue - This Wheel's On Fire (Absolutely Fabulous)

As a fan of comedy series "Absolutely Fabulous", I'm looking forward to the upcoming movie starring Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley. But that's not all. My idol, pop princess Kylie Minogue, has recorded her own version of the series theme song "This Wheel's On Fire" for the movie's soundtrack.

It's always a pleasure getting new Kylie recordings, so you bet I'm excited. You can already buy the track digitally on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon UK and Amazon US. The physical CD edition will be out on July 1.
