Opera Skaala - Heart Of Light

Today's song is a recommendation from a dear friend. "Heart Of Light" by Opera Skaala just competed in the Finnish pre-selection to the Eurovision Song Contest. Sadly, it didn't win, but I hope it will become a big hit. I'm not a big opera fan, but I love when the mix opera with electronic dance music.

Midnight Boy - When You're Strange

I've previously blogged about Midnight Boy and his cool single "Roll With It". Today's song is his second single "When You're Strange", just as much influenced by eighties music as the first one. The song is available on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon UK and Amazon US. Check out the video down below, where he strips in the middle of Stockholm.

Tonight, Midnight Boy is competing in Melodifestivalen, the Swedish pre-selection to the Eurovision Song Contest, with the song "Don't Say No", my definitive favourite song of this year's competition.

The other day, the reissues of my idol Kylie Minogue's classic PWL albums finally arrived in the mail! They look amazing, don't they? Each album has been remastered and expanded with a bonus CD and DVD, packaged in a lovely box. It's time for Kylie galore!

I'm very excited about Madonna's upcoming album "Rebel Heart" that will be out on March 9. It includes the hit single "Living For Love" and will be released in many different editions.

Check out the official video for Madonna's latest single "Living For Love". I really like the track, it's a grower, and the video is cool as always. One of the outfits is a throwback to Madonna's 1987 look. I also like the quote at the end, it's so true.

One of my favourite songs is "I Feel Love" by the late Donna Summer, produced by Italian disco producer Giorgio Moroder. Now, he's back with a brand new single, with vocals by my big idol Kylie Minogue. Check out the official video for "Right Here, Right Now" down below. Lovely, isn't it?

I always enjoy discovering artist who are as fascinated by the eighties as I am. Check out the video for Swedish singer Midnight Boy's single "Roll With It" from 2013. I love the retro sound and his queer image! The song is available on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon UK and Amazon US.

On February 28, Midnight Boy is competing in Melodifestivalen, the Swedish pre-selection to the Eurovision Song Contest, with a song called "Don't Say No". If it's as good as his previous work, he's definitely getting my vote!

After the lovely reissues of Taylor Dayne's albums "Can't Fight Fate" and "Soul Dancing", Cherry Pop Records are finally reissuing her debut album "Tell It To My Heart" on March 30. The album was originally released in 1988 and is one of my personal favourites, so I'm very excited.

Video: Lili & Susie - Fly, Fly Little Bird

The wonderful Swedish duo Lili & Susie just released a video for their single "Fly, Fly Little Bird", directed by Mikael Silkeberg. The pop song is the theme from Lili's TV show "Djurens Hjältar" which started airing tonight. The video also features scenes from the show where Lili and her colleagues rescue wild animals.

The song is out now on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon UK and Amazon US. The girls are celebrating thirty years as an act this year, so many exciting things are planned for 2015.
