Melanie C - High Heels

I've never been a huge fan of Melanie C's solo music. Don't get me wrong, she is a great singer and I love her in the Spice Girls, but many of her solo songs are just not my style. There are exceptions however, for example the dance-pop anthems "I Turn To You (Hex Hector Radio Mix)" and "Anymore (Seamus Haji Radio Mix)". Now another one has arrived.

Her latest single "High Heels" is an amazing uptempo dance-pop track and the video has a loud and proud LGBTQ theme. Check out the official video down below and support the catchy song by streaming or buying it from iTunes, Spotify, Amazon and more.

The Saturdays - Christmas Wrapping

British girl group The Saturdays just released a Christmas song: a cover of "Christmas Wrapping" by The Waitresses, originally released in 1981. Pop fans might remember the Spice Girls' cover released back in 1998. The song is taken from the soundtrack of the movie "Get Santa", out now on iTunes, Spotify and Amazon.

Video: Geri Halliwell - Calling

I'm not a big ballad lover, but there are exceptions. One of them is "Calling", the 2001 single by former Spice Girls member Geri Halliwell. I'm not sure why, but there is something magical about the song, and I've always loved Geri's mysterious vocals. I also love the black-and-white video where she's got a Marilyn Monroe vibe going on.

The song is taken from Geri's second solo album "Scream If You Wanna Go Faster", available on iTunes, Spotify and Amazon.

Video: Geri Halliwell - Half Of Me

I'm a big Spice Girls fan and I also love Geri Halliwell's solo music. The other day, Geri finally released her brand new single "Half Of Me" and you can see the video down below. It's a cute pop track that I'd love to buy. However, it's only available in Australia, which is a real shame.

Record labels should by now that they need to make songs available worldwide right away, or people will just download the track illegally. I like the song though and I really hope Geri's releasing a new solo album in the near future!

Spice Girls reuniting for the Olympics

It's official! The wonderful girl group Spice Girls are reuniting for the London 2012 Olympics closing ceremony. I'm so excited to see my childhood idols back together again!

The Saturdays - Up

Since the day I first heard the Spice Girls I have loved so-called "girl groups". A friend recently recommended the British pop group The Saturdays and I'm already a fan! One of my favourite songs is their 2008 single "Up", produced by Swedish producers.

Great, isn't it? I love the electropop sound and the catchy melody. I'll be posting more videos by The Saturdays soon.
