Eurotix - Love Take Me Higher (EP)

Mine and Larry Forsberg's synthpop project Eurotix just released the brand new EP "Love Take Me Higher". The title track might sound familiar to Eurovision fans. The song was written by Larry and his friends for Melodifestivalen 2016 (Swedish pre-selection) where it was performed in Swedish by drag queen act After Dark.

But the original demo version was quite different. Dennis sang on the original version which was intended for disco group Alcazar. We are thrilled to finally release our version of the song! Check out the LGBTQ themed video down below.

The EP also includes our love letter to disco music: "I Don't Wanna Dance Alone", the Army Of Lovers-esque "Venus Calling Azerbaijan" and finally "Lockdown Disco", a song about the world's current situation.

Eurotix - Conquer The Universe (EP)

Mine and Larry Forsberg's synthpop project Eurotix just released the new digital EP "Conquer The Universe" so get ready for a retro synthpop and euro disco explosion! Fans of Melodifestivalen – Sweden's pre-selection to the Eurovision Song Contest – might find it interesting to know that the title track started out as a demo for Swedish singer Magnus Carlsson of Alcazar fame. Our version is less "schlager" and more synthpop though. The EP also includes the uptempo tracks "When Did Your Heart Grow Cold?" and "I'll Be Your Satellite", both inspired by eighties dance music. "If You Were A War" is the only ballad on the EP, with sad lyrics partly written by Dennis. Fun fact: Dennis' mum actually cried the first time he played the song for her. Magnus Carlsson - Nej Nej Nej

After the success in Melodifestivalen 2015 with "Möt Mig I Gamla Stan", Magnus Carlsson is back with a brand new single from his latest album "Gamla Stan", titled "Nej Nej Nej". The track is a cool dance-pop track and the maxi-single includes a brand new remix of the title track, the English version "Oblivious", plus two previously unreleased tracks.

The single is out digitally on iTunes and Spotify, and as a limited CD single, available directly from Magnus' official website.

One of the best songs from Melodifestivalen 2015 – Sweden's pre-selection to the Eurovision Song Contest – was former Alcazar member Magnus Carlsson's cool disco-pop track "Möt Mig I Gamla Stan", also recorded in English as "Meet Me Downtown Tonight".

But like many Eurovision tracks, this one is even better when remixed. Now Magnus has released a digital collection featuring club remixes by producers such as Andreas Berg and SoundFactory. Check them out at iTunes, Spotify and Amazon UK.

Former Alcazar member Magnus Carlsson is back with the brand new single "Glorious", a great dance-pop track. I loved Magnus' last album "Pop Galaxy" and I really hope he'll keep the eighties retro sound for the upcoming one. "Glorious" is out now on iTunes and Spotify.

Magnus Carlsson - Pop Galaxy

Former Alcazar member, Magnus Carlsson, is releasing his new solo album "Pop Galaxy" in October. The sound is inspired by Stock Aitken Waterman's eighties hits and you'll be able to buy it on iTunes and Spotify.

The album includes the singles "This Is Disco", "A Little Respect" (Erasure cover), "Feel You", "The Best In Me" and a cover version of Stéphanie's 1986 hit "One Love To Give", one of my favourite songs.

Alcazar - Last Christmas

Merry Christmas from the Swedish disco trio Alcazar! They just released a new music video to their cover version of the Wham! classic "Last Christmas". The video was directed by Mattias Dahlqvist and filmed by Peter Knutson. "Last Christmas" is included on the new special edition of the album "Disco Defenders".
