2016 has been a tough year. Just one day after her daughter – "Star Wars" star Carrie Fisher – tragically passed away, Debbie Reynolds also passed away, eighty-four years old. According to several news sources, the movie legend was rushed to hospital while planning her daughter's funeral. She must have been heartbroken after losing her.
Debbie will always be remembered for her roles in movies such as "How The West Was Won", "The Unsinkable Molly Brown" and of course the 1954 musical "Singin' In The Rain" where she starred opposite Gene Kelly. Fan of classic movies should also check out a personal favourite of mine, the 2001 movie "These Old Broads", co-starring Joan Collins, Elizabeth Taylor and Shirley MacLaine.
Rest in peace, Debbie. You will be missed.

Titanic: Honor And Glory (Teaser Trailer)
Check out the official teaser trailer for the upcoming adventure video game "Titanic: Honor And Glory", developed by Four Funnels Entertainment. As you might already know, I'm a huge Titanic buff and I loved the classic video game "Titanic: Adventure Out Of Time", so I can't wait for this one, where you'll be able to explore the ship and experience the sinking in real time.

Titanic on Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D
James Cameron's masterpiece "Titanic" is finally being released on Blu-ray on September 10. The movie premiered in 1997 and starred Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio. This new edition will include loads of new and old bonus material.I was thirteen when the movie premiered and saw it twice at the cinema. I've always been interested in the ship itself and no one has been able to recreate the magic Titanic on screen like James Cameron did.
You can pre-order the Blu-ray edition of "Titanic" from Amazon UK and Amazon US. There will also be a 3D Blu-ray of the movie. Personally, I'm not a big fan of watching movies in 3D so I'll stick to the regular Blu-ray disc.

Titanic - 2012 miniseries on Blu-ray
I've always been very interested in the Titanic so I'm very excited about the new miniseries "Titanic", written by Julian Fellowes, the man behind "Downton Abbey" and "Gosford Park".The new miniseries is being released on both Blu-ray and DVD. You can order the Blu-ray now from Amazon UK or Amazon US. Don't miss out on this wonderful series!
"All human life is on Titanic as she sets out on her maiden voyage. The upper-class family with their suffragette daughter and their warring servants; the wealthy elite of American society; the Irish lawyer in Second Class with his embittered wife; the young cabin steward and the impetuous Italian waiter who falls for her; the Catholic engineer fleeing Belfast with his wife and family to escape the sectarian conflict; the mysterious stranger in Steerage fleeing who knows what. And then there are the officers and crew.
As their stories interweave and we find our first impressions are often undermined by what we learn, there is one thing that we know for certain and they do not: that not all of them will survive."

New Titanic TV series
Speaking of "Downton Abbey", the show's creator Julian Fellowes has created the new TV series "Titanic", premiering on ITV in April 1912, one hundred years after the real RMS Titanic sank. I'm very excited about this show since I'm very interested in the real Titanic. I also love British drama series!
"The series features four intertwined narratives which follow different characters to a cliff-hanger where the ship founders. The final episode will draw the different stories together and show which of the characters survive."
