I just read the sad news about French singer France Gall passing away, seventy years old. It's so sad. I first heard her music as a kid when I fell in love with the Eurovision Song Contest and her winning song from 1965, "Poupée De Cire, Poupée De Son", became one of my favourites from the competition.
But I also like her music from the eighties, especially the albums "Babacar" and "Débranche !". Check out the video to my personal favourite, "Ella, Elle L'a" from 1987, down below.
