"There's a land that I heard of once in a lullaby"

I was very saddened to hear about the terrorist attack in my neighbour country Norway. I would like to honour the victims with a song, Judy Garland's classic "Over The Rainbow", here performed live by Kylie Minogue:

Rest in peace.

Steps are back!

It's finally official, the plastic pop group Steps is coming back! I'm so excited! I really love their music and have been a huge fan since I was a kid. According to Generation Steps, the group is reuniting to do a TV documentary.

They will also release a greatest hits album. I just hope they will record some brand new songs as well. My favourite Steps member is Claire Richards, she has the best voice. Although I'm a big fan of all the girls.

Follow me on Facebook and Twitter for more news on Steps comeback! Here are some of Steps' biggest hits:

Lili & Susie - Swedish disco duo fansite

I just finished the Lili & Susie fansite on Plastic Retro. Please check it out! It's nice to introduce these Swedish disco sisters to people who don't speak Swedish. If you haven't heard their music yet, you're in for a treat.

More discographies by Swedish artists are coming soon!

I love latin freestyle

Not many people here in Sweden know about the music genre freestyle. The genre was huge in the US during the eighties and early nineties. Freestyle is a mixture of dance, synth and latin pop. I'm not a big fan of traditional latin music, but I love freestyle since it's more electronic.

Through the years, I've collected lots of freestyle albums on CD, mainly by female artists and girl groups. The upbeat melodies and the electronic dance sound always cheers me up.

Some freestyle artists I like: Sweet Sensation, The Cover Girls, Exposé, Shana, Brenda K. Starr, Nancy Martinez, Seduction, Stacey Q, India, Pajama Party, Shannon, Alisha, Company B, Safire, Sequal and Denise Lopez. Here are some of their videos:

Eric Saade - Hearts In The Air

Swedish Eurovision hunk Eric Saade released his brand new music video "Hearts In The Air" today. I'm not that fond of the video, but at least the song is good. What do you think?

Jedward - Lipstick

Another one of my favourite tracks from this year's Eurovision Song Contest is Ireland's entry "Lipstick" by Jedward. I love it! The song is extremely catchy and the twin brothers are quite charming.

I wonder if they can sing live? Who cares? We'll always have the studio version!

Kati Wolf - What About My Dreams?

One of my favourite songs from this year's Eurovision Song Contest is Hungary's entry "What About My Dreams?" by Kati Wolf. I love the modern dance-pop sound and Kati's strong voice!

Some people have compained about her age. That's just ridiculous! What has age got to do with anything? Kati is a great singer, that's all that matters.

Amanda Lear - Chinese Walk

Trashy gay icon Amanda Lear had big success in the 70's with disco singles "Fashion Pack", "Follow Me" and "Enigma (Give A Bit Of Mmh To Me)". Now, she's finally back with the brand new single "Chinese Walk"!

Sure, Amanda can't sing and her English is quite bad. But I can't help loving her music. Plastic is fantastic!
