Sheena Easton, Five Star & Aretha Franklin reissues

I received some new CD's the other day. The brand new reissues of Sheena Easton's four studio albums "You Could Have Been With Me/Madness Money And Music" and "A Private Heaven/Do You", both packed with bonus tracks like B-sides and remixes. I really recommend them!

I also received "The Remix Anthology - 1984-1991" compilation by the amazing Five Star, including two discs filled with digitally remastered remixes and rarities. And finally, the reprint of Aretha Franklin's 1985 album "Who's Zoomin' Who?", also remastered with a bonus disc with remixes.

Baby, I was born this way!

I will never understand parents who don't allow their children to be themselves. If a boy wants to play with dolls and wear pink, let him. If a girl wants to play with cars and cut her hair short, let her. It should be their choice. Forcing gender roles on children is bad parenting and it saddens me that this is still an issue!

Here is a photo of me, taken on my fifth birthday. I was so happy! And no, playing with dolls and dressing up as a girl didn't "turn me gay". I was born this way and I'm proud of my parents for allowing me to be myself, no matter what. Please share a link to this post to show your support!

"Girls can wear jeans and cut their hair short, wear shirts and boots. 'Cause it's OK to be a boy. But for a boy to look like a girl is degrading. 'Cause you think that being a girl is degrading. But secretly you'd love to know what it's like... Wouldn't you? What it feels like for a girl."

Krista Siegfrids - Marry Me

I really like Finland's Eurovision Song Contest entry "Marry Me" by the cool Krista Siegfrids. Check out the funny video! The track is very catchy and kitschy. It could've been a bit more electronic but hopefully, they'll release some club remixes as well.

"Marry Me" is out now on iTunes and Spotify.

Kylie Minogue - Whistle

Don't miss out on Kylie Minogue's new single "Whistle", a collaboration with Icelandic band Múm. It's taken from the soundtrack of the gay themed movie "Jack And Diane", in which Kylie herself plays a small part.

The song is quite different and not really my style. However, when it comes to Kylie, I'm partial. You can find "Whistle" on iTunes and Spotify.
